Natalie Rieke
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Hi, I’m Natalie! I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can take a breath, feel supported, and show up exactly as you are - without fear of judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. My approach is warm, relational, and down-to-earth, with a focus on creating a genuine connection and helping clients feel emotionally safe and understood.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than a decade working as a school counselor, supporting children, teens, and families through academic stress, emotional struggles, family dynamics, and major life changes. That experience deeply shaped the way I approach therapy today. As a mom of three, I also understand firsthand the balancing act of parenting, relationships, and caring for others while trying to care for yourself.
I work with clients across the lifespan with anxiety, grief and loss, low self-worth, identity development, and emotional regulation. I am committed to providing affirming therapy for LGBTQ+ clients, with an emphasis on creating a welcoming and supportive space rooted in safety, authenticity, and trust. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel known, supported, and less alone in what you are experiencing - while also helping you build the tools and insight needed to create lasting, meaningful change.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University, my master’s degree in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University, and a post-master’s certificate in Mental Health Counseling from Butler University. I enjoy walking, yoga, movies, and spending time with my family.
